Canadian Music Week and Guild Of Music Supervisors, Canada Announce 2023 CANADIAN SYNC AWARD WINNERS

The Guild of Music Supervisors, Canada (GMSC) and Canadian Music Week (CMW) are proud to reveal the winners of the 2023 Canadian Sync Awards. Cody Partridge of Pear Tree Music Supervision was the recipient of three awards.

The Canadian Sync Awards took place on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto with performances by Preston Pablo, Milk & Bone, and Adria Kain.

The Canadian Sync Awards celebrate the craft of music supervision in filmed media in Canada with an annual presentation of 15 awards, with 8 categories voted on by the public.

The Huey Award
The Canadian Sync Awards also presented the “The Huey” Award to Marlon Knight. The Huey Award honours legendary music supervisor David Hayman, who passed away in May 2020. “The Huey”, which includes a $1500 honorarium, is bestowed upon an aspiring music supervisor who has passion for the craft.
