GENERAL VOTING GUIDELINES

Thank you for voting! The 2022 Canadian Sync Awards features awards in seven (7) categories that are voted on by the public, as well as six (6) awards that are voted on by the members of the Guild of Music Supervisors Canada (GMSC), recognizing our industry colleagues across the sync community. We ask that you vote only once per category, and your vote requires an e-mail address for verification (your votes will be kept strictly confidential).

This year, the GMSC has created ‘The Huey’ - honouring legendary music supervisor, David Hayman, who passed away in May, 2020. To be presented at the Canadian Sync Awards, ‘The Huey’ will be awarded to an aspiring music supervisor who has passion for the craft. The recipient must be a Canadian resident who shows initiative and interest in pursuing music supervision as a career, but has not yet gained experience in the field.
